Responsibilities: <p>We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Security &amp; Compliance Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing governance of our enterprise data classification, protection, and compliance strategies. You will play a key role in defining and enforcing security and data governance policies using Microsoft 365 E3/E5 capabilities, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and DLP.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>• Design, implement, and maintain data classification and data loss prevention (DLP) policies using Microsoft Purview.<br>• Develop and apply sensitivity labels, retention policies, and information protection standards.<br>• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Endpoint, and Identity.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to enforce security baselines across Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).<br>• Lead compliance and data governance initiatives aligned with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks.<br>• Work closely with IT and InfoSec to enforce secure collaboration, access control, and audit policies.<br>• Provide documentation, training, and continuous improvements of compliance and security procedures.<br>• Monitor and respond to alerts generated from Defender and Purview tools. </p>

Requirements: <p><br>Requirements:<br>• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 E3/E5 security and compliance tools.<br>• Strong understanding of data classification, DLP, retention, and information governance.<br>• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Microsoft Compliance Center.<br>• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).<br>• Familiarity with cloud security architecture and risk management principles.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Preferred:<br>• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) or Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400).<br>• Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, gaming, or healthcare.</p>
