Responsibilities

  1. Assist in design and implementation of the internal policies, procedures and controls relevant to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
  2. Monitor and assess the correctness and effectiveness of the company’s KYC tools and systems in line with the applicable regulations and internal policies. Assist in development and improvements of systems;
  3. Liaison with the third parties and company’s departments for the implementation of the policies and procedures required;
  4. Monitoring of the AML regulations updates, gap analysis performance, establishment and implementation of the action plan;
  5. Participation in AML compliance inspections and audits;
  6. Assist in assessing data quality and taking the necessary measures for improvement;
  7. Review and assessment of High-Risk customers;
  8. Assist in continuous AML risk management, review and adjust the Risk-Based Approach;
  9. Report to the AMLCO & assist with the conduct of the AML Compliance Monitoring Program;
  10. Design and implement the training programs for AML & CTF for the staff;
  11. Participation in external audits, third-parties requests, reports to CySEC;
  12. Other ad-hoc projects related to AML &CTF.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law or related field;
  2. 3+ years of experience in an AML function;
  3. Previous experience in drafting and updating policies and procedures;
  4. Knowledge of and experience with CySEC regulations;
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills;
  6. Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize workload, and pay attention to detail;
  7. Computer literate, with proficiency in Excel;
  8. Fluent in English and Russian;
  9. Knowledge of Greek is considered an advantage.
